Upload a Custom Logo For Your Invoices

Now on MakeSomeTime you can upload a custom logo to replace the title on your invoices. This helps brand your invoices especially when sending them to clients and gives them a bit more of an edge and professional look.

You can upload your custom logo via the Settings > Invoice Settings page. Images must be no larger than 400px x 70px and in JPG or PNG format on a white background. As always let us know what you think about this new feature.

MakeSomeTime On Your iPhone

Working on the go or don’t have your laptop at hand? Well MakeSomeTime now has a scaled down, iPhone optimized version of the site. It is not a standalone app so you don’t need to install anything, just go to makesometime.com on your iPhone/iPod Touch and you should be good to go.

At the moment you can only use tasks, projects and clients. Reports and Invoices are inaccessible however you can always switch to and from the full version of the site with the links in the footer if you really need to access some features. Archiving and deleting tasks are also unavailable on the iPhone version of the site.

As usual any feedback on the iPhone version of the site would be much appreciated so don’t be afraid to let us know how you get on with it.

Import Projects From Basecamp

Yes that’s right. If you upgrade to a paid plan you can now import your projects straight from 37Signals Basecamp. This saves you the hassle of having to do it manually if you ever need your Basecamp projects in MakeSomeTime. If you have any feedback on the new functionality then please let us know.

At the moment the only functionality is importing projects however we might extend this in the future to importing timed tasks and other syncing.

MakeSomeTime Review on Lifehacker.com

After being inundated with emails about MakeSomeTime sign-ups we realised this morning that MakeSomeTime had been reviewed on Lifehacker.com.

We’ve looked at other nice web-based time-tracking apps, including computer-based software, and we like MakeSomeTime for how easy it is for users to track time from anywhere you happen to be working—from home or the local coffee shop.

We are excited about getting a good review on Lifehacker due to the size and reputation of the site. So head on over and check out the review and let us know what you think. Oh and if you’ve come from Lifehacker then welcome to MakeSomeTime.

MakeSomeTime Payment Plans

After our big news yesterday about the invoicing upgrade we are following up with some payment plans. It has been a long time coming and we have decided that this is the best way to move forward for everyone. We hope you find the plans acceptable and as always looks for your feedback on everything we do. So from today the limits on the service and prices are shown below.

As you can see we still offer the free version of MakeSomeTime and the upgrades are super cheap. If you need the extra breathing space login to MakeSomeTime and go to the Settings page to pick an upgrade plan.
