Well that is good news. This is the best service I've come accross that I didn't find completely limiting (in terms of how many projects/clients you can have etc).

Thanks :)

This really doesn't make much sense, from a user perspective. If I'm sending out a $50 invoice, I should use makesometime, because it will only cost me $0.50... but if I'm sending out a $2,000 invoice.. I might as well make up my own invoice, and save myself $20. I see this being less profitable for you guys in the long run.

To be honest I was just about to try MakeSomeTime when I discovered your pricing method and it put me off right away!

As Anon says, you can get a monthly paid account at freshbooks (or any other invoicing app) and know how much you pay no matter what your turnover is.

In my case, with the amounts I invoice I would definitely lose money if I decided to use your system.

JJ is right. Great for small time usage, but for people billing out 2 to 4 sites a month at $2k each that is a minimum of $40 a month. I think JJ is right in saying there needs to be a cap. Charge with your scheme, but once I have been charged $15 to $20 for the month that is it. Like an insurance deductible.

So you're saying you only want people that invoice infrequently and for small amounts? Seems like you need some sort of cap to be competitive -- e.g., 1% of invoice or some dollar value, whichever is less. Otherwise nobody with large accounts would ever use the product.

@Anon Yes that is true. However with MakeSomeTime you don't have a monthly financial commitment. You only pay for what you send. So it comes down to opinion.

So, if I'm sending out an invoice for 3k, I have to pay $30?

Your pricing method is flawed. I can sign up to freshbooks for about $15 a month and send a whole bunch of invoices at whatever prices I wish.
